Monat Global Plans to Finish Its Australia Launch in November |
Npros.com | 9/21/2021 Monat Global said it will finish its expansion into Australia in November 2021. Jen Usher, vice president and managing director for Monat Australia, said beauty buyers in the market want more than product performance and are looking for more conscious choices. The company was already active in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Spain, and Lithuania. Australia is the next country on that list rather than a new product line inside an existing market. The announcement sets a November completion date for the market opening. It extends the hair-care and beauty direct-selling business into another English-speaking country after the earlier European additions. |
Monat Global Plans Spain Launch as Latest Step in European Expansion |
Npros.com | 5/10/2021 Monat Global UK Ltd said it planned to launch in Spain in June 2021, extending European expansion after the United Kingdom in 2018 and Ireland and Poland in 2019. Ros Simmons, senior vice president and managing director for Monat Europe, said social selling demand and partner success in existing markets supported the move. The launch was set to begin with virtual events and regional roadshows to recruit founding market partners, with an e-commerce launch planned for September 2021. President Stuart MacMillan said Spain research showed strong potential for the business model and product line. MacMillan tied the expansion to continued growth in the United States since 2014 and to a broader plan to bring Monat products and opportunity to more European audiences. |
Monat Gratitude Raises 700000 During Virtual Impact Week |
Npros.com | 10/22/2020 MONAT Gratitude, Inc., the philanthropic arm of MONAT Global Corp, raised 700,000 dollars during MONATions Impact Week 2020, a virtual event held September 9 through 13. Limited-edition product sales, gratitude shirt sales, and distributor donations totaled 350,000 dollars, and MONAT matched the rest. Nearly 50,000 people attended, and the company called it the most successful event so far. President Stuart MacMillan said moving online reached a larger audience than expected and produced the highest dollar total to date. MONAT also announced a partnership with Give Back Box so customers can fill empty MONAT-branded boxes with gently used clothing, jewelry, or household items and ship them with a prepaid label to nonprofit partners. Impact Week funds were designated for the Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, and The Salvation Army in the United States; Big Brothers Big Sisters in Canada; The Toy Project in the United Kingdom; and SOS Childrens Villages in Poland. Chief culture officer Lu Urdaneta said the goal this year was 250,000 dollars, more than triple the prior year goal of 80,000 dollars, and that the total beat that mark. Separately, 10 directors who attended MONAT Elite 2020 in early October raised nearly 20,000 dollars for educational resources at a local school in Bora Bora. The company said Gratitude has been part of its culture since 2014 and that giving is focused on families, children, and education. |
