CVSL and Uppercase Living Close Transaction |
Press Release | 3/16/2014 DALLAS, March 14, 2014 -- CVSL Inc. and Uppercase Living LLC announced today that they have closed a transaction for Uppercase Living to become part of the CVSL family of micro-enterprise companies.Salt Lake City-based Uppercase Living offers an extensive line of customizable vinyl expressions for display on walls in the home. Its independent sales force sells throughout the United States. Uppercase Living was founded in 2006 with the vision of creating an inspiring decorative medium that would allow customers to transform their spaces into a reflection of themselves. This vision was delivered through decorative lettering and embellishments sold through in-home parties, called Open Houses. These expressions can be applied quickly and easily to walls, tiles, wood blocks, and other meaningful places, without enlisting the help of a professional decorator. "Uppercase Living is a wonderful addition to the CVSL family of companies. It has a very appealing line of inspirational and personalized products and we believe there is excellent potential here. CVSL already includes a personalized stationery company, Paperly, so with Uppercase Living we have increased our presence in the marketplace of personalized products," said John Rochon Jr., vice chairman of CVSL and head of its investment committee. "For all of us at Uppercase Living, becoming part of the CVSL family is an important step forward," said Jeffrey Erickson, founder of Uppercase Living. "Now we can be part of a global company and find new ways of sharing our product line with more and more people. It is an exciting time for us." |
