Known for quality cookware and entertaining products that make celebrating the holidays at home healthy, fun and festive, Princess House is donating these products to encourage healthy cooking and inspire giving in local communities this holiday season. "Sharing is in our DNA," says President and CEO Connie Tang. "For more than 50 years Princess House has been sharing the life-enhancing opportunity to be your own boss by providing people with quality products and the support they need to develop a successful business. With our Share the Joy Holiday Donation campaign, we share the opportunity for children and families to have a happy, healthy holiday."
The product donations will benefit thousands of children and families who will receive Princess House Cookin' Kids and other healthy cooking products, and those inspired by the campaign to "share the joy" in some special way in their own communities.
The Share the Joy Holiday Donation campaign kicked off on November 25th when Tang announced live on the Today Show Princess House's $500,000 in product donation to the 21st Annual Today Toy Drive. As part of its program, the Today Toy Drive matches donations with requests from non-profit organizations it works with. As a result of the match ups, Princess House is distributing its donations to 10 non-profits: Arizona Helping Hands, Inc. (Scottsdale, AZ); Community Partners of Dallas -- Rainbow Room (Dallas, TX); Denver Indian Center (Denver, CO); La Maestra Family Clinic, Inc. (San Diego, CA); Operation Homefront (San Antonio, TX); Rainbow Rooms of Texas (Houston, TX), St. Joseph Center (Venice, CA); St. Margaret's Center (Lennox, CA); Texas Head Start Association (Kendleton, TX); and, The Christmas Box International (Salt Lake City, UT).
Princess House has also set aside $500,000 in product donations to be distributed through the top leaders in the company's sales force. These donations will be made to local non-profits nominated by the leaders themselves.
"Princess House is all about sharing the joy in our Consultants' homes and communities. With these product donations we give our leaders the opportunity to give back to their communities that have supported them and given them so much," says Tang. |
