Jamberry Nails Announces Support of Go Red For Women |
Press Release | 2/11/2015 Lindon, UT February 10, 2015 -- It’s not often that you see an item going down the runway at New York Fashion Week that women can buy that very moment and, better yet, give to a good cause by doing so. Jamberry Nails is proud to announce its support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® Red Dress Collection runway show this February at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, as top designers and celebrities take to the runway in red gowns to support women’s heart health. One in three women will die from heart disease and stroke, yet 80 percent of it is preventable. The women walking in the show will be wearing Jamberry’s Heart Health Awareness nail wraps, of which $2 of every $15 sheet sold is donated directly to the American Heart Association to help combat this largely silent, but preventable, killer. The nail wraps are available for purchase through April 30, 2015 at JamberryNails.com and through Jamberry’s network of independent consultants.
Since its founding in 2010, Jamberry has been committed to charitable giving through monetary donations, employee volunteer days, and specially designed nail wraps that raise funds and awareness for special causes.
“An estimated 43 million women in the US are affected by heart disease. Raising awareness for women’s heart health through the design and sale of our Heart Health Awareness nail wraps is very important to us. We are honored to give our consultants and other women across the country the opportunity to raise awareness of, and contribute money to, this very important cause,” says Keri Evans, one of the three sisters who founded Jamberry.
The Go Red For Women® Red Dress Collection will take place on February 12, 2015 at 8:00pm at Lincoln Center. |
Jamberry Makes Six Figure Donation to Salvation Army |
Press Release | 12/20/2014 Lindon, UT December 18, 2014 -- Since its founding in 2010, Jamberry has been committed to charitable giving through monetary donations, employee volunteer days, and specially designed nail wraps that raise funds and awareness for special causes. This holiday season, Jamberry pledged to help The Salvation Army provide holiday gifts for children across the country by donating a portion of proceeds from select limited edition nail wrap styles available on the Jamberry site from Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
Thanks to a strong fan base of Jamberry consumers and Jamberry Independent Consultants across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, the company was able to donate $110,417.50 in total to this cause. Jamberry presented its donation to The Salvation Army during the week of Cyber Monday, joining a roster of companies participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.
“This significant donation will benefit countless children both locally and nationally, including Canada. Many children will be blessed with a wonderful Christmas because of the generosity of companies like Jamberry,” stated Troy Trimmer, Envoy in Charge of The Salvation Army of Utah.
This donation is only the most recent to exemplify how strongly Jamberry values giving back to the community. Since 2013, Jamberry has been an official corporate supporter of the Autism Society of America through its Autism Awareness “Commitment to Charity” nail wraps. For every sheet sold of these nail wraps, Jamberry donates $2.00 to the Autism Society of America. |
